Initially based in beautiful Houpsitas/Kyuquot, this role involves collaboration with the Housing Authority to ensure compliance with housing regulations and effective funding management. You will develop housing projects and oversee tenant agreements, while engaging in community presentations as needed. Training is available for the right individual committed to improving KCFN housing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement housing program regulations
• Track approved budgets and source funding
• Manage community relations regarding housing issues
• Coordinate housing repairs and maintenance requests
• Assist in preparing policy reports for the Housing Board
Requirements:
• Preference for property management or related education
• Solid communication and leadership skills
• Previous experience in housing project development
• Understanding of Nuu-chah-nulth cultural practices
• Police Information Check required
