Become a vital part of daily transit operations at Transdev Canada in Abbotsford. As a Casual Transit Dispatcher/Scheduler, you will coordinate service efficiently while responding to real-time challenges.

In this operational role, you will handle daily scheduling, dispatch operators, and monitor transit services in real time. Requires a knack for problem-solving and communication to handle delays, absences, and other issues promptly. Your proactive decisions will keep our transit services running smoothly and safely while supporting HandyDART dispatching as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage operator schedules and vehicle assignments
• Dispatch operators according to schedules and operational needs




• Monitor transit service for delays and disruptions
• Maintain communication with drivers and management
• Assist with emergency response procedures as needed

Requirements:
• Minimum two years of dispatch or operational experience
• Grade 12 education or High School Diploma
• Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatch software
• Knowledge of local geography preferred
