Join the fight against sexualized violence as a Sexualized Assault Services Support Worker, working part time from August 31, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with 14 hours weekly.
In this vital role, you will provide immediate support to individuals affected by sexualized assault. Working under the Clinical Supervisor, you will coordinate with local agencies and assist clients with crisis responses, safety planning, and navigating available resources. Your knowledge of trauma and interpersonal skills will be crucial in empowering clients during their recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with agencies to support assault survivors
• Respond to crises and coordinate hospital calls
• Assist in client safety and transport needs
• Guide individuals on reporting and victim support
• Maintain accurate client documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field
• Background in supporting sexualized assault victims
• Trauma-informed care training
• Training in cultural sensitivity
• Effective communication and organizational skills
Contribute to the healing of survivors and enhance community resources through dedicated advocacy and support.
