Your Opportunity

Our Toronto office is looking for a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;) and Capital Markets team from January to April 2027. This is a net new role and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:

- Prepare pitch-books and presentation documents in connection with business development initiatives
- Perform market, industry and company research supporting live engagements
- Prepare lists of potential buyers and acquisition targets
- Assist with drafting of marketing documentation (i.e. Confidential Information Memorandums)
- Assist with various financial analysis as required including financial modelling and comparable company analyses;
- Participate in due diligence processes.

Your experience and education





You are enrolled in a post-secondary business program with an emphasis in accounting or finance

You have a strong interest in Mergers and Acquisitions

You have excellent attention to detail and ability to perform analytical work accurately, often under time pressure

You have developed communication skills and a solid ability to collaborate with team members

You have a strong aptitude for Microsoft Excel

You have the ability to prioritize competing priorities with varying deadlines

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced deals environment.

The salary range for this role is $48,000 - $60,000.
