This vital role involves more than just medical care; it includes emotional support and building a nurturing environment for pediatric clients. With options for full-time and part-time work, nurses will be expected to commit to a consistent schedule throughout the week. You will be a comforting presence in the lives of the children and their families, ensuring each child’s needs are met with dignity and care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide G/GJ tube management and care
• Administer medications according to CNO guidelines
• Support children with daily living and mobility
• Observe and communicate health changes to guardians
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children
Requirements:
• Active license with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in pediatric nursing
• Current BLS certification required
• Recent Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
• Hold Professional Liability Insurance (PLI)
