Arts Umbrella is hiring a part-time Art & Design Assistant for the 2026-2027 year. Support young artists by providing a safe and engaging classroom environment.

This role involves collaborating with instructors at Arts Umbrella, ensuring that necessary supplies and safety protocols are in place. Your passion for arts education and experience working with children will help inspire creativity among students. The position allows for flexible schedule primarily in the evenings and weekends, making it ideal for aspiring educators.

Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and prepare supplies and classrooms
• Support instructors in delivering engaging lessons
• Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in classrooms




• Foster positive communication with students and parents
• Prepare classroom layouts before and after classes

Requirements:
• Background in Art & Design or similar field
• Experience with children in educational settings
• Understanding of Arts Umbrella’s mission and values
• Willingness to work flexible hours, evenings/weekends
• Strong dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion
