Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is crucial for this impactful role in the Urban Indigenous community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement the Active Living Strategy
• Collaborate with community organizations to boost engagement
• Organize programs to promote fitness and health
• Conduct group activities to motivate community participation
• Assess increases in active living across participant groups
Requirements:
• Degree in Recreation, Health Promotion, or related field
• Background in health promotion and event coordination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of Indigenous health determinants
• Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license
