Empower children and create inclusive learning experiences as a Level 1 Child Care Educator at YMCA. Guide young minds aged 0-12 with passionate engagement and approved curriculum.

The YMCA of Northern Alberta seeks a dedicated educator to impact the lives of children through high-quality programming. You will support social, emotional, and cognitive growth while fostering creativity and positive interactions. Daily responsibilities include observing children's development and implementing engaging activities, all within a safe setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver YMCA curriculum promoting holistic child development
• Facilitate activities enhancing creativity and exploration
• Document and observe children’s developmental milestones




• Follow safety protocols and YMCA policies
• Communicate with parents to provide updates on progress

Requirements:
• Preferred experience working with children
• Active Level 1 Child Care Certification or in progress
• Current Standard First Aid & CPR - C certification
• Willingness to obtain Police Information Check
• Basic computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
