About the Role
HealthOPM is currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join a welcoming retirement home in the Goderich Town area . If you are passionate about providing exceptional care and making a positive difference in the lives of seniors, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Support residents with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living

Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting resident independence

Assist with meals, hydration, and light housekeeping as required

Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition

Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans





Work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team

Adhere to infection prevention, health and safety, and organizational policies

Qualifications

Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from a recognized Ontario program

Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months)

Current TB screening/clearance

Current CPR/First Aid certification is an asset

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience in retirement or long-term care is an asset

Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality resident care
