Interior Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Opioid Agonist Treatment team in Castlegar, BC. This role focuses on mental health care and substance use treatment, promoting community wellness.

As a vital part of the Mental Health & Substance Use team, you will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and support to clients facing severe mental health and substance use challenges. Your solid assessment and communication skills will aid in ensuring access to timely, evidence-based care across multiple modalities. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver assessment and treatment to clients with serious health issues
• Manage cases and provide community support services




• Utilize diverse treatment modalities for individuals and groups
• Coordinate overdose prevention education initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians and community services for patient care

Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved nursing program
• Two years of recent MHSU experience preferred
• Current BCCNM registration as an opioid use disorder nurse
• Valid B.C. driver’s license
• Flexible and organized approach with solid communication skills
