Join Commissionaires as an On-Call Detention Guard at the Ladysmith RCMP Detachment. In this role, you will ensure the safety of persons in custody and manage essential operational duties.

As part of a dedicated team, you will monitor the conditions of individuals in custody, assist in searches under supervision, and manage meals and activity log. Flexibility is paramount, as this role accommodates various scheduling needs, suitable for students or those with unique scheduling requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct security checks on prisoners using CCTV
• Maintain detailed prisoner activity records
• Organize and monitor meal distributions
• Ensure cleanliness and repair status of cells
• Assist with occupational searches when needed

Requirements:
• Must hold Occupational First Aid level 1 certification
• Capable of obtaining RCMP Reliability Clearance
• English proficiency required for explicit communication
• Basic computer competencies essential
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure
