The Saskatoon Academy of Music seeks a passionate and self-motivated individual to serve as a violin instructor. You will be part of a committed teaching team focused on delivering quality music education. The role requires formal violin credentials, with lessons conducted in-person and online, accommodating students’ needs from Fall 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach violin to students in-person and via Zoom
• Prepare engaging lessons tailored to students’ levels
• Stay in touch with students to support progress
• Participate in pre-term training sessions in August
• Ensure compliance with academy policies and safety checks
Requirements:
• Solid background in violin is necessary
• Formal school or examination qualifications required
• Vulnerable sector criminal record check is essential
• Teaching experience is considered an asset
• Availability on Tuesdays and Saturdays is required
