As a key member of the Kitsilano Neighbourhood House team, you will lead the Hudson School-Age Program dedicated to community values and social justice. Your responsibilities encompass organizing diverse activities, guiding children in their development, and ensuring clear communication with families. Experience in inclusive childcare is highly valued among candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise indoor and outdoor play activities
• Provide an engaging and secure environment for children
• Design and implement appropriate field trip experiences
• Work closely with community service providers for support
• Keep the environment clean and safe for children
Requirements:
• Valid Responsible Adult Certification or equivalent required
• Must be over 19 years of age as per regulations
• Current First Aid Certification or obtain swiftly
• Experience in inclusive childcare strongly preferred
• Criminal Record Check and adherence to immunization standards needed
