Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Windows Engineer to develop enterprise Windows standards, automation frameworks, and technical solutions within a financial services environment. This position will also serve as a Level 3 escalation point for complex Windows infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities

- Develop Windows Server infrastructure standards, security baselines, and best practices.

- Create advanced PowerShell scripts and Ansible playbooks for Windows automation.

- Design reusable OS deployment and configuration frameworks.

- Provide Level 3 troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical support.

- Establish patching, security hardening, and compliance standards.

- Support Windows clustering, SAN storage, virtualization, and related infrastructure.

- Collaborate with Build, Operations, Security, Network, and Application teams.

- Create technical documentation and mentor junior technical staff.

Qualifications





- 5+ years of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 experience.

- 3+ years of IT experience in the financial services industry.

- Expert-level PowerShell and advanced Ansible skills.

- Solid experience with Group Policy (GPO) administration and troubleshooting.

- Experience with Windows Server failover clustering, including SQL Server clusters.

- Hands-on knowledge of SAN storage in physical and virtual environments.

- Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization platforms.

- Knowledge of Windows security, hardening, SOX, PCI-DSS, and change management.

- Experience providing Level 3 infrastructure support.

- Cloud, container, Microsoft certification, and enterprise automation platform experience are preferred.
