We're Hiring!
We are looking for an experienced Wood CNC Router Operator to join our production team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who already has solid experience operating a CNC router and understands the setup and cutting process. If you know how to set up, load, operate, and troubleshoot a CNC router, we want to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC routers — including tooling, cutting parameters, work holding, and material positioning — to cut, carve, drill, and shape plywood, MDF, solid wood, and other sheet materials.
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and CNC cutting files.
- Load and unload materials safely and accurately.
- Monitor machine operation, changing router bits and making adjustments as required to maintain consistent quality.
- Perform quality checks using measuring tools to ensure finished parts meet dimensions and specifications.
- Identify and correct common machining or cutting problems.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and report equipment issues to Maintenance.
- Keep the CNC machine, tools, and work area clean and organized.
- Follow production schedules and meet required deadlines.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records when required.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating a CNC router is an asset, preferably in a woodworking or cabinet manufacturing environment
- Ability to read shop drawings and technical measurements
- Knowledge of CNC machining and cutting tools
- Experience working with wood, plywood, MDF, or similar materials
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Robust problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Basic computer skills
- Solid commitment to workplace safety
