Workday HCM Integration Developer
Location: Remote – Canada
Employment Type: Long Term Contract
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM .
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM concepts, architecture, and functionality .
- Experience with at least one end-to-end Workday HCM implementation .
- Extensive hands-on experience with Integrations, EIB, Calc Fields, Security, and Data Migrations .
- Strong knowledge of EIB (Inbound & Outbound), Core Connector – Worker, Core Connector – Benefits, Workday Studio, Reports, Navigation, Search, and Security .
- Hands-on experience with XSLT , including development, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of ISU, ISSG, Integration Scheduling, Monitoring, and Troubleshooting .
- Good understanding of PBO, RBO, Workday Objects, and their relationships , including effective use of Calc Fields.
- Strong skills in coding, testing, implementation, debugging, and technical documentation .
- Ability to understand AS-IS and TO-BE processes , analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex operating environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical information clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, multinational, and multi-vendor environment .
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support Workday HCM integrations .
- Build and maintain integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors (Worker & Benefits), and XSLT .
- Work with Organizations, Navigation, Security, Custom Reports, Business Processes, and Workday Objects .
- Analyze requirements and identify relationships between PBO/RBO and other Workday objects , leveraging Calc Fields where required.
- Understand and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes based on business requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, test cases, and implementation/support documentation .
- Support integration migration activities across environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues, including scheduling and production support.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional application teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Assist the Team Lead / Project Manager by gathering information from existing systems, analyzing program requirements, and ensuring deliverables meet defined timelines.
- Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-production support activities.
