As a key player in the Corporate Underwriting team, you'll report directly to the Supervisor, analyzing data to uncover issues such as subpar controls or fraud. You'll play a significant role in reviewing business submissions for compliance with underwriting rules and conducting audits for optimal systems. Your strong relationship-building skills are crucial for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to foster support and change.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze underwriting data to detect deficiencies and compliance issues
• Perform audits on new systems pre-implementation
• Verify adherence to underwriting policies for recent and renewal applications
• Suggest improvements for systems and documentation clarity
• Produce management reports to facilitate decision-making
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant field
• 8 years of underwriting experience in Automobile and Property
• Desired CIP or FCIP designation
• Willingness to pursue auditing certificates
• Proficient with relevant technology and Microsoft Office
