In the capacity of Grounds Lead Hand, you will offer daily direction to Grounds staff and Equipment Operators, ensuring projects are completed effectively. Your responsibilities will encompass landscape maintenance, snow removal, and the operation of various equipment, ensuring the safety and beauty of the Banff campus. The position requires practical knowledge of horticultural practices and equipment servicing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Direct Grounds staff and equipment operators daily
• Operate light to heavy equipment for landscaping tasks




• Manage snow removal and ensure campus safety
• Perform minor repairs on machinery and irrigation systems
• Assist various departments with labor needs

Requirements:
• Minimum two years in groundskeeping or landscaping
• Knowledge of irrigation and landscape construction
• Class “5” Alberta driver’s license
• Experience with skid steers and snow plows is an asset
• Physically capable of strenuous outdoor work
