Help transform lives as a Casual Youth Support Worker with EGADZ in Saskatoon. This position features flexible shift hours aimed at assisting youth in high-risk environments.
Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre EGADZ Inc. is in need of casual workers for its My Homes Youth Housing Program. Successful candidates will possess relevant education or experience in human services, along with exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging with the youth. The role is crucial in fostering an setting conducive to positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support to at-risk youth
• Participate in varied shifts including overnight and weekends
• Maintain strict confidentiality and establish boundaries
• Cultivate trusting relationships with the youth
• Monitor and evaluate program participation and outcomes
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in human services or equivalent
• 1-2 years youth care experience required
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures is preferred
• Must be CPR and ASIST certified (within 6 months)
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
