Join our community-focused group home as a Life Skills Coach, providing vital support to clients with diverse needs. You'll implement workshops that foster essential life skills while promoting independence.
With a Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience, this role involves appraising client needs and facilitating workshops in a supportive environment. Robust interpersonal abilities and a passion for client-focused service are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client’s skill strengths and development needs
• Prepare case histories and necessary reports
• Supervise group home client activities and appointments
• Implement life skills and behaviour management programs
• Collaborate with various agencies for client support
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of experience
• NVCI and First Aid certifications required
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Demonstrates initiative and client focus
• Capable of heavy lifting exceeding 100 lbs
