As an Assistant Cook, you'll support the Chef in preparing appealing meals for our retirement residents, guests, and staff. Your experience in large quantity food preparation and knowledge of dietary regulations will ensure proper nutrition and compliance. You’ll also engage in planning special occasions and contribute to a caring kitchen setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver food for residents and guests
• Review and follow menus and production sheets
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are used
• Complete daily temperature audits and record findings
• Assist in meal service respecting dietary preferences

Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Experience in large quantity food preparation
• Knowledge of special and therapeutic diets
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy items
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check required
