Extendicare is looking for a dedicated Personal Support Worker to deliver compassionate care in our long-term care homes or community settings. The ideal candidate should have completed a PSW program and possess strong communication skills. Experience with dementia and palliative care is preferred, with a focus on fulfilling the emotional and physical requirements of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care including bathing and grooming
• Assist patients with ambulation and feeding
• Document care plans and patient needs accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients and families
• Work independently in community home care settings

Requirements:
• Completed PSW Program or HCA/CCA certification
• Experience in long-term care or community home care
• Knowledge of care planning and documentation
• Ability to read and write English fluently
• Independent work experience is an asset
