Strengthen community standards as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer for the Township of Oro-Medonte. Monitor compliance and deliver quality service through education and enforcement of regulations.

You will directly report to the Supervisor, engaging with a network of residents and local businesses. This role requires solid investigation skills for complaints, as well as issuing orders and preparing court documents. Your focus will be on supporting public safety while exemplifying high service standards and promoting compliance with local by-laws.

Key Responsibilities:
• Educate and enforce municipal by-laws and property standards
• Conduct site visits and interviews regarding complaints
• Process fines and prepare necessary legal documentation




• Oversee compliance for various regulatory by-laws
• Maintain documentation and reports of enforcement activities

Requirements:
• College diploma in law or related field
• Minimum one year of experience in enforcement
• Familiarity with municipal and provincial laws required
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License required
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather
