Brock University is hiring a Teaching Assistant for Business Analytics. This role focuses on course coordination and lab demonstration while providing student support in a agile academic environment.

This position demands prior TA experience and knowledge of data mining and programming software, including Python and SPSS. The Teaching Assistant will prepare seminar materials, consult with students, and manage grading. We seek candidates who have excelled in relevant MBA or MSc courses with a strong grasp of visualization tools like Power BI and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and conduct student consultations
• Prepare and organize seminar materials
• Assist in grading and proctoring examinations




• Utilize programming knowledge for course tasks
• Support students in using Bright Space effectively

Requirements:
• Previous TA experience in relevant courses
• Knowledge of Python, WEKA, SPSS, and software tools
• Strong understanding of MS-Excel, MS-Access, SQL, and Power BI
• Familiarity with Bright Space functions
• Track record of timely task completion
