This position reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on maintaining contracted assets like roads and medians. Operators will use various vehicles and tools in highway and right-of-way maintenance, including snow removal equipment and traffic control devices. Candidates should have experience in outdoor work, including construction or landscaping, ensuring safety guidelines are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Remove snow and ice using snow removal equipment
• Maintain and repair highway surfaces and infrastructure
• Operate maintenance vehicles for repair tasks
• Set up and remove traffic control setups
• Transport crew and equipment to job sites
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum three years’ experience in related work
• Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license
• Certified in traffic control and first aid
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
