Help transform lives as a Casual Peer Support Worker with The Salvation Army. This role provides essential support in the Women's Treatment Program, focusing on guiding clients through their recovery journey.

The Salvation Army invites applicants for the Peer Support Worker role at Harbour Light. As a worker, you'll engage with clients through direct interactions and step-work facilitation. Your core mission is to ensure a safe and supportive workplace while monitoring clients’ well-being and providing resources necessary for their recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular safety checks and client interactions
• Lead weekly Step-Work Groups for client progress
• Administer medications and manage documentation




• Assist with integration into the treatment environment
• Report any concerning client behavior promptly

Requirements:
• Minimum one year experience with female clients
• Familiarity with 12-step recovery principles
• Relevant certifications for peer support or training
• Background Check required for employment
• Skills in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
