BGC Okanagan is seeking a Part-Time Senior Program Leader for its After School Program at Shannon Lake Elementary in West Kelowna, BC. Drive program success while mentoring and supporting staff and students.

This temporary role involves leading day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with child care regulations. You will be responsible for creating enriching activities and providing mentorship to a dedicated team. A strong focus on equitable hiring practices is essential for all applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the daily operations and oversee program development
• Supervise and provide feedback to staff and volunteers
• Ensure adherence to Child Care Licensing Regulations




• Develop a calendar of activities for members and families
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records for participants

Requirements:
• Diploma or relevant coursework in child development
• Minimum one year experience in child-focused settings
• First Aid & Food Safe Certifications mandatory
• Willingness to obtain Class 4 Driver's Licence
• Criminal Record Check required for employment
