ATCO Frontec seeks a skilled Salad and Sandwich Maker for our Jansen Discovery Lodge. Focus on food preparation while maintaining high sanitation standards in a dynamic kitchen environment.

In this role, working on a 14 days on, 7 days off rotation, you’ll prepare various salad bar selections and specialty sandwiches. Your duties include keeping kitchen equipment clean and effective, managing food stock, and meeting high demands for quality food service. You will play an integral role in a diverse kitchen team dedicated to supporting employees at the BHP Jansen potash mine.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare salad and sandwich items efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen utensils
• Stock food areas, focusing on quality and presentation




• Handle daily kitchen demands for salads and sandwiches
• Test and prepare food as directed within the kitchen

Requirements:
• Valid food safety certificate required
• Minimum 1 year experience in food preparation
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to thrive under pressure with minimal supervision
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills
