About Gestion Zagora

Gestion Zagora is a growing real estate management company specializing in residential and commercial properties across Canada and the United States.

As we continue to expand and optimize our systems and operations, we are looking for an experienced Yardi Specialist to join our team in Toronto.

About the Role The Yardi Specialist will act as the company's internal Yardi expert and will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the platform across our organization.

You will work closely with our Accounting, Property Management, Leasing, Operations, and Management teams to improve processes, maintain data integrity, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure that Yardi is being used effectively across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the company's primary Yardi subject-matter expert;
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Yardi based on operational and accounting requirements;
- Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting to Yardi users;
- Assist with onboarding new properties into Yardi;
- Set up and maintain properties, units, tenants, leases, vendors, and other system data;
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy and integrity of information within Yardi;
- Create, customize, and improve financial and operational reports;
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes within Yardi;
- Support Accounting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, rent charges, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting;
- Work with Property Management and Leasing teams to improve workflows and system utilization;
- Support data migrations, imports, reconciliations, and validation;
- Develop and maintain Yardi procedures, documentation, and best practices;
- Train and support employees on Yardi functionality and internal processes;
- Assist with user access, roles, and permissions in accordance with company procedures;
- Identify and resolve system and data inconsistencies;




- Coordinate with Yardi support and external consultants when required;
- Participate in system implementation, optimization, and process-improvement projects.

Qualifications
- Advanced hands-on Yardi experience is required;
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience working with Yardi or in a similar systems-focused role;
- Solid experience with Yardi Voyager is highly preferred;
- Experience within residential and/or commercial property management;
- Strong understanding of real estate accounting and property management processes;
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets;
- Experience creating and analyzing financial and operational reports;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to translate business and operational requirements into effective Yardi solutions;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy;
- Ability to train and support users with different levels of technical knowledge;
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Experience implementing or migrating to Yardi;
- Experience with multiple Yardi modules;
- Experience supporting a large multi-property portfolio;
- Knowledge of residential and commercial real estate accounting;
- Experience developing internal procedures and training materials;
- Experience supporting properties across multiple provinces or jurisdictions.
