Background
Jump provides recreational basketball leagues and skills training for youth in Ontario. We want to grow participation in basketball for the lifelong enjoyment of Canadians.

This role is a senior position within the Coaching Team. Your main goal will be to ensure that 100% of our members have a positive experience 100% of the time. Re-registration of players and parent feedback will be the primary performance metric.
- Show up on time.
- Show up ready, energetic and positive.
- Address the players and parents on a regular basis and maintain open communication with all stakeholders.
- Execute the Jump program, as per provided Program Outline.
- Coach your teams, during games and practices.
- Assist in scorekeeping as needed.
- Assist in refereeing as needed.
- Record player info in games and skills programming as needed.
- Transport and set up score table and JUMP branding at each venue.
- Assist the Lead Coach, other coaches and entire team as needed.
- Obtain and record player and parent feedback as it is received.
- Be a JUMP ambassador - on and off the court.
- Attend JUMP staff meetings (before and after each session)
- Attend preseason training sessions
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS University or college degree is an asset. 4-5 years of experience with sports and recreation, coaching in basketball is an asset. Incredible enthusiasm, energy, positivity and dedication to help kids enjoy the game of basketball. You are a problem solver and enjoy coming up with creative solutions when needed.

REMUNERATION and DETAILS This contract position is paid an hourly rate of $18.00 - $25.00 /hr Weekend availability is a must, additional weeknight options are available. We have locations in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Guelph:
Cambridge:
- Fridays @ Pere Rene (1 spot available)

Kitchener/Waterloo:
- Wednesdays @ The Family Centre (2 spots available)
- Sundays @ Sandowne PS (2 spots available)
Guelph:
