Main Areas of Responsibility
- Working independently at partnered SD 73 sites and in a team setting at the BGCK youth centre.
- Oversee weekly and monthly operational duties in collaboration with Youth Programs Manager.
- Purchasing and distributing supplies for school related outreach programs.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Assist with daily youth drop-in programs.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education relating to area of work in: Education, Social Work, Child & Youth Care or Psychology.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain right away.
- Current Food Protected Certificate or obtain right away.
- Class 5 drivers licence (class 4 is an asset).
Administration Responsibilities:
- Ongoing professional development around harm reduction philosophy and other professional development opportunities.
- Comprehensive monthly reports, grant information tracking, and record-keeping of statistics for partnered programs.
Condition of Employment
- The successful candidate must complete and successfully pass a Criminal Record Check.
