Role Overview
We are looking for a highly reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support YouTube content production, primarily focused on:
- Thumbnail Design (Primary Priority)
Video Editing (Secondary)
- This is a flexible, project-based role with batch work rather than consistent weekly output.
Scope of Work
1. Thumbnail Design (CORE FOCUS)
Design high-converting YouTube thumbnails
Follow client-provided:
- Keywords
- Messaging direction
- Image requirements
Provide creative input and suggestions
- Deliver thumbnails in batches
1. Video Editing (Optional)
Long-form videos:
Raw footage: ~45 minutes
Final output: ~10 minutes
Tasks include
- Cutting mistakes and filler
- Adding B-roll
- Light animations
- Clean, professional pacing
Short-form videos:
- Create engaging, concise clips from long-form content
- Optimize for social media consumption
Key Challenges to Solve The client has previously experienced:
- Unreliable freelancers (missed deadlines)
- Poor communication
- Inconsistent quality
Reliability and responsiveness are CRITICAL for this role Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
Proven experience in YouTube thumbnail design

VA can use preferred tools as long as output meets expectations Work Setup & Engagement
- Type: Project-based / Sporadic (recommended as the initial setup). The client prefers to start with a project-based approach, with the intention to transition into a longer-term engagement if the VA proves to be a strong fit.
- Workload:
- 1–2 videos/month
- Thumbnails delivered in batches (e.g., 4 at a time)
- Schedule: Flexible (no timezone requirement)
Approval Process:
- All outputs must be reviewed and approved before publishing
Video Editing Package Includes:
- 1 Full Episode or Long-Form Video Edit
- 2–3 Thumbnails
- 2–3 Short-Form Videos (derived from the long-form content)
