Become a Women's Support Worker at YWCA Regina and empower those in crisis by addressing their vital needs. This role focuses on safety, housing, and health support in a daytime capacity. In this permanent full-time position, you'll adopt a trauma-informed and harm reduction approach to assist women and families facing complex barriers.
You'll work a rotation which includes weekends, making a tangible impact from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Your ability to foster trust will be essential in supporting clients seeking to improve their situations. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish connections with community members through presence
- Refer individuals to appropriate support services
- Prepare case reports and planning documents
- Connect clients to cultural programming and ceremonies Requirements:
- No educational qualification required
- 0-6 months of applicable experience
- Knowledge of local services and supports
- Flexibility to work wide-ranging hours including weekends
