This seasonal position involves closely monitoring snowpack conditions and conducting thorough avalanche assessments. Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor snow and weather conditions through fieldwork
• Perform thorough snow stability tests and evaluations
• Lead avalanche control efforts with proper techniques




• Prepare and disseminate daily avalanche forecasts
• Maintain records of control activities and observations

Requirements:
• CAA ITP 1 or working towards it
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification
• Valid PAL or ability to obtain
• Strong skiing/snowboarding skills in challenging terrains
• Experience in avalanche hazard assessments
