In this part-time role, you will report to the Director of Care and uphold Extendicare's commitment to patient-oriented service. Your responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, implementing care plans, and administering medication while following strict regulatory guidelines. You will work closely with team members and residents to respond to changes in health conditions and facilitate effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide planned, goal-directed nursing care
• Complete clinical assessments and service plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Coordinate resident care assignments effectively
• Educate residents and families on care
Requirements:
• Registration as an RPN in your Province/State
• Experience in a senior's care setting preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Current Vulnerable Position Screening within 6 months
