Become a Youth Mentor in London, contributing your skills to enhance youth services across Southwestern Ontario. This part time role focuses on engagement and development for young individuals.
With a commitment of 22.5 hours per week, you will engage in supporting Early Childhood, School Age, and Adolescent Programs by working collaboratively within Horizons and Family and Community Services. Evening and weekend flexibility is necessary to connect effectively with youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support youth services through diverse methods
• Develop inclusive resources for disabled youth
• Coordinate events to promote social skills
• Lead youth advisory efforts to collect insights
• Assist in administrative and planning activities
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-year post-secondary education in relevant field
• Personal experience with disability
• Expertise in Solution Focused Coaching
• Excellent communication skills
• Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification
