The Faculty of Architecture is looking for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator for its Introduction to Environmental Design course. This part-time role requires 3.25 hours of weekly commitment, engaging in lesson preparation and grading assignments. Ideal for students pursuing a career in education, this position will allow you to interact closely with learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in planning and coordination meetings for the course
• Prepare and deliver instructional materials in various settings
• Mark students' work, midterms, and final exams
• Offer students scheduled consultation times for academic support
• Assist in additional duties like audiovisual development and field experiments
Requirements:
• Completion of relevant academic studies or experience
• Ability to empathize with students’ instructional needs
• Proficient communication skills in English
• Must be a full time enrollment student at University of Manitoba
• Need for a valid study permit for international applicants
