Additionally, you will mentor OT students from the University of Alberta, fostering their development in community-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide thorough occupational assessments and care planning
• Lead educational and life skills groups for clientele
• Facilitate access to healthcare and housing resources
• Uphold high qualified standards in documentation
• Participate in community outreach and support initiatives
Requirements:
• Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Minimum 1-year experience in the occupational therapy field
• Familiarity with Indigenous culture and related ceremonies is an asset
• Strong judgment and organizational capabilities
• Current First Aid certificate and police check required
