The City of North Bay invites applications for the position of Landfill Attendant - Environmental (Temporary Part-Time). Reporting to the Landfill Operations Supervisor, the attendant is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring and environmental compliance of the Merrick Landfill Site.

Qualifications:

Minimum (1)



one year diploma in environmental science or related field

Six (6) months previous Landfill or equivalent acceptable experience

Forklift training certificate

Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software

Demonstrated ability to deal with the public; valuable communication skills

Sufficient clerical ability to complete daily reports
