Join The Salvation Army as an Emergency Shelter Worker on full-time night shifts. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe living environment for vulnerable individuals.

You will serve as a Residential Worker B, providing essential support to residents and monitoring their safety in a shelter workplace. Duties include conducting status checks, facilitating programming, and managing intake/discharge procedures. Successfully addressing the emotional and physical needs of residents is paramount, as is maintaining comprehensive documentation of all interactions and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety and perform client status checks
• Implement and monitor case management plans
• Maintain logs and documentation for funders




• Facilitate situational programming for residents
• Provide key support during intake and discharge

Requirements:
• At least one year of frontline experience
• Educational background in social services or related fields
• Knowledge of addiction counseling preferred
• Ability to manage crises and emotional challenges
