Contribute to aerospace excellence as a Deburr Technician at Collins Aerospace in Oakville, Canada. This onsite role requires you to deburr and finish landing gear components during weekend shifts.
In this position, you will report to the Weekend Day Shift Supervisor and perform various activities involving the deburring, cleaning, and polishing of aerospace parts. A solid foundation of 1-3 years in deburring, along with robust analytical skills, will support your engagement in quality assurance and process improvements in a leading aerospace organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out deburring, filing, and polishing of components
• Conduct operator self-verification for quality adherence
• Safely operate overhead cranes for part movement
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement projects
• Manage rework and surface finishing inquiries as needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma along with 1-3 years of deburring experience
• Demonstrated skill in reading micrometers and verniers
• Eligibility to work in Canada; must meet ITAR and CCGP criteria
• Competence in interpreting drawings and production orders
• Familiarity with Matrix and the latest MPS/APS systems
