Support recovery efforts in your community as a Peer Support Worker at Bentley Place. This part time role emphasizes mentorship focused on physical and mental well-being.

The Part Time Peer Support Worker position involves working weekends from 4 PM to midnight. You will contribute your lived experiences to help residents overcome challenges while facilitating skills that lead to empowerment and recovery. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personal recovery insights to clients
• Facilitate peer-to-peer recovery and skill development
• Accompany clients on outings and activities
• Document client progress and ensure safety
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams for support

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent education
• About 1 year of recovery experience required
• Valid first aid certification and driver’s license
• Satisfactory completion of criminal record checks
• NVCI certification required
