Deliver impactful education as an Instructor/Coordinator at Yukon College’s Dawson City Campus, specializing in Adult Basic Education. Engage students in Math, English, GED, and Employment Readiness.
This agile role begins September 2026 and ends June 2027. As an Instructor/Coordinator, you’ll work closely with community organizations and First Nation partners to create impactful educational programs. Your responsibility includes developing both classroom-based and distance learning experiences tailored to student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct classes in Math, English, and GED preparation
• Design and revise curriculum for adult learners
• Provide student assessments and maintain educational records
• Collaborate with local partners for community-based training
• Lead and supervise casual instructors to enhance programming
Requirements:
• Degree in a relevant area; Master’s degree preferred
• Previous teaching experience, especially with adults
• Proficiency in curriculum development and distance education
• Strong collaborative and communication abilities
• Familiar with multicultural and First Nations contexts
