As a Painter I, you will be responsible for preparing, repairing, and painting a wide variety of structures under the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor's guidance. This CUPE 59 position requires five years of non-journeyperson painting experience and a valid Class 5 Driver's License. Your work will include handling tools, ensuring material estimates, and complying with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and paint various surfaces using multiple techniques
• Plan and execute work according to schedules




• Manage material estimation and stock procurement
• Transport tools and materials using City vehicles
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Five years of painting experience in commercial or industrial settings
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Protected driving record as per driver’s abstract
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
