Become a key player in securing funding for Musqueam Indian Band's projects as a Grant Writer and Tracker, focusing on comprehensive grant management.
You'll be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, where your skills in crafting persuasive proposals will directly contribute to the funding process. Your role will span from researching grant opportunities to managing all aspects of the grant application workflow, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout. Strong communication and organizational skills will enable you to foster effective relationships within the community and with funding agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct extensive research for grant applications
• Write and tailor proposals to meet funder guidelines
• Collaborate on and track project budgets
• Manage documentation and deadlines for grant processes
• Present data metrics and reports for assessment
Requirements:
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in public administration or similar
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing
• Proficient in analytical and grant management skills
• Robust project management and communication skills
• Familiarity with Indigenous governance issues
