As a key part of the Fleet Management Department, this position requires skilled maintenance of vehicles and equipment while adhering to environmental sustainability practices. You will perform engine overhauls, inspect vehicles according to standards, and assist in training new mechanics. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough inspections of campus vehicles
• Overhaul and repair engines and transmission systems
• Diagnose electrical issues in various equipment




• Train apprentices and instruct on proper procedures
• Maintain garden and emergency equipment as needed

Requirements:
• Certification as a journeyman Heavy Duty or Automotive Mechanic
• Minimum five years of experience in related roles
• Valid BC Driver’s license with a clear history
• Commitment to enhancing equity and inclusion
• Understanding of preventive maintenance principles
