In your role as Accountant, you will ensure the accurate tracking of all school revenues and expenses. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee daily accounting operations, manage vendor payments, and generate vital financial statements. Your commitment to service excellence and exceptional organizational skills will be key in supporting the academy's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Complete full-cycle accounting and manage AR/AP
• Authorize monthly journal entries with integrity
• Prepare monthly financial statements for review




• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Train and supervise Bookkeepers as needed

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years in accounting or bookkeeping roles
• Necessary post-secondary education focused on accounting
• Proficient with QuickBooks and financial software
• Strong grasp of Canadian Accounting Principles
• Uphold confidentiality and school mission values
