Become an Outreach Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society, aiding adults with housing needs. This casual role focuses on advocacy and support coordination across flexible shifts.
This role addresses the needs of clients who face significant challenges related to reliable housing, including addictions and mental health concerns. Lookout Housing and Health Society seeks an Outreach Worker who can demonstrate effective crisis intervention skills and a commitment to supporting vulnerable populations. You will be tasked with developing individualized plans and connecting clients to essential resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support and skills training for client independence
• Assess and strategize solutions for client issues
• Ensure clients meet their basic needs through networking
• Maintain documentation and create statistical records
• Uphold health and safety standards in all duties
Requirements:
• Relevant Diploma or equivalent combination of experience
• Experience in case management, minimum one year
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certification
• Class 5 Driver’s Licence is required
• Clearance for Vulnerable Sector required
