Play a critical role in the Water Division of St. Louis as a Water Maintenance Technician. This full time position focuses on maintaining the city’s essential water distribution systems and facilities.
This role requires two years of relevant construction experience and includes various hands-on duties such as digging, operating trucks, and performing concrete renovations. Responsibilities are diverse and crucial for the functioning of the city's water supply network. You will be tasked with ensuring the safety and efficiency of our water systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain critical water distribution systems
• Conduct trenching for utility installation
• Clean and prepare water treatment facilities
• Operate grounds maintenance and construction equipment
• Install safety measures at work sites
Requirements:
• Minimum two years of construction-related experience
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory
• Knowledge of water line construction processes is preferred
• Availability for overtime and on-call duties
• CDL is an advantage but not mandatory
