Impact lives positively as a Mental Health Correctional Officer at the Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford. Oversee offender management while ensuring a secure facility setting.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with adult offenders, using your expertise in mental health to facilitate rehabilitation and reduce re-offending rates. Your responsibilities will include monitoring offenders and collaborating within a diverse team to provide comprehensive case management and interventions. Foster positive relationships to support successful reintegration into society.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure facility safety through proactive monitoring
• Collaborate on rehabilitation programs and interventions




• Manage complex offender behaviors and escalations
• Conduct regular facility patrols and audits
• Respond effectively to incidents using best practices

Requirements:
• University degree in relevant fields
• Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification
• Understanding of the criminal justice framework
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities
